Altura

Situated west of Praia Verde, the village of Altura follows the wide dune cord that characterizes it.

Beach locality par excellence, it has a renewed walkway that crosses the extension of its dune cordon, where you can observe the beauty of the typical vegetation of the region, go hiking, or simply choose your favorite beach for moments of leisure.

Altura is a tourist destination chosen by many Portuguese and foreigners, which stands out by the tranquility of the environment. It benefits from numerous hotel and restaurant facilities, where you can taste the best that the sea offers, made by those who know it.

Here, the Municipal holiday is marked on June 24, when the festivities of the Immaculate Heart of Mary take place, as well as a Handicraft Fair, where you can find the perfect souvenirs of an unforgettable moment.
