International Tennis Open in Vila Real de Santo António

The International Tennis Open in Vila Real de Santo António, which will take place between February 5th and 19th, represents the return of the great sports events in the municipality.
Running since the 5th, the tournament is marked by the presence of great sportsmen of the sport, such as the Portuguese Gonçalo Oliveira, the French Valentin Vacherot, head of the series in his category, and the Czech Dominik Kellovsky, one of the great promises of tennis.
Considering the high competitive level, hundreds of people are expected at the tennis courts to watch the two tournaments. Among athletes, staff and entourage, over 700 people are expected, which brings a significant contribution to local commerce, as well as to the region's hotel units.
All the courts where the matches will take place were renovated and the infrastructures were improved, necessary measures to enjoy tennis at the highest level.
The VRSA International Open is a co-organization of Clube de Ténis de VRSA, Câmara Municipal de VRSA and Federação Portuguesa de Ténis, with a wide range of sponsors.
All the matches have free entrance.
